I am also looking for a tape cassette (LS7-38-1) for the LS7 label printer, and cannot find one anywhere. I called Panduit and they said the LS7 has been obsolete for several years, and they have no tape cassettes for it.

How do I change the print cartridges?

  • Open the printer cover and prop it up with the support brace located on the right-hand side of the cover.
  • Remove the black FINE ink cartridge from its container and locate the protective tape. Gently remove the protective tape used to cover the print head nozzles and electrical contacts.
  • Insert the black FINE ink cartridge into the printer slot labeled "B." It will rest on a slight angle. Push the cartridge up and back until it clicks into place.
  • Repeat the process for the color FINE ink cartridge, placing it in the slot labeled "C."
  • Raise the printer cover slightly to loosen the support brace. Fold the brace inward and replace the cover to its closed position.
  • A green LED light will flash on top of the printer. In about a minute, the LED stops flashing and displays "1." Once the "1" appears, you're ready to print.

    Too much tape

Hi, it seem your label maker is set to the last(amount) of labels printed. Go to: Print Labels, click; Number of Labels; clear to set to (1) Label. That should stop the run off of labels. Thanks paul70f9

    CANT PRINT LABEL ON CD

I have tried to print cd labels on two separate HP C5280 printers, with no luck. Printer keeps giving me an error message, cd/dvd tray is open. Printer just doesn't recognize the cd holder. I have uninstalled and installed the HP driver, spoke to the tech support, followed their instructions on chat, phone and you-tube, wasted so many labels, papers and the ink, complained to HP, all waste of time, money and energy. Please don't buy this product.
