MUTIZONE INSTRUCTIONS FOR AKAI DVD PLAYER DV-P3570DS

I have an AKAI DVD PLAYER model DV-P3570DS. I live in South Africa (Zone 2, I think). I often buy DVD's in the U.S. (Zone 1), but they wont on this machine. Normally one has to code the DVD player so that it can play DVD's from all zones.

Does anyone have the Mutizone coding instructions for this DVD model please?

Many thanks.

Try Hi-Fi Corporation or where you originally bought your DVD, they can unlock it for you. I have the same and I DVD never had problems with playing imported DVDs from the US.

I have an AKAI DV-P3570DS DVD Player; I lost my remote control, I've been trying to use a smartphone irRemote http://irremote.psiloc.com/custom.aspx which I downloaded and installed to my Nokia phone. PROBLEM: I can't find the same device model from the list of AKAIs; does anybody with the same model know how to assist me here?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Pioneer region code

When a DVD disc is created, it is encoded with a "Region number." The disc will only play on DVD players with the same Region number - for instance, a Region 3 disc won't play on a Region 1 player.
Region 1: U.S. and U.S. Territories, Canada
Region 2: Japan, Western Europe, Middle East, South Africa
Region 3: South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast and East Asia
Region 4: New Zealand, Australia, Pacific Islands, Mexico, Central/ South America
Region 5: Russia and the former Soviet Union, Africa, Indian
subcontinent, North Korea
Region 6: China

The only way to get around the region codes, is to rip a DVD to your computer and remove the region code. Then burn the DVD to a DVD R. There are programs around on the net, but I'm not sure it is legal in all countries.
Google for the programs.
A DVD player sometimes allows you to change the region code once. But it not even would allow you to switch back after you changed it once.

Most DVD players allow one change. So if you buy a region 1 player and live in region 3 you can change the region to 3. But if you return to region 1 you can't switch back.
If you have a computer and a toaster to burn your DVD's, there are program m's that can rip a DVD to a folder on your computer and then recode the files to a DVD that has no region.
If you have lots of DVD's it would be wiser to rip the DVD to the PC, remove the region code and put the content on a media player.
In a few years you can't buy DVD's. Perhaps some blue ray DVD with 4K or 8K HD will exist for a while, but ???

Report your Video shop to RiSA. They should legally only carry zone 2 DVD's as a rental copy and a sale copy has two different licenses of use. If they have zone 1 DVD's it means they are bypassing the local supply chain (ie getting it outside South Africa) and damaging the industry as a whole.
