1.Do not use administrator account. Make a limited access account and always use that until you have any problem that might need administrative power.
Click Start---Run, type "msconfig" without quote, press enter. Click on the tab "service".
Find 'Shell Hardware Detection' and disable it.
This operation will turn off "Autoplay" what is a major cause of virus attack.
Dont directly open any removable media or drive.
Always click right mouse button and select 'open' or 'explore'.

2. Use any Linux distribution; specially Ubuntu. Almost all virus free, fast and stable operating system. You can get free ubuntu CD from there homepage www.ubuntu.com

  • If your are not using the internet very often, Then the only source of infection is through use of infected files from CD/DVD/FLOPPY/Pen Drives. So its always a best practice to scan the media before using the files on them.
  • Also whenever you do connect to the internet, you need to update the antivirus.
  • If you have no option to connect to the internet, most anti virus providers offer patches. Which can be downloaded from a cybercafe and then updated in your system.

Hi there, you can try a data recovery software.I have succeed to recover data from flash drive with Tenorshare data recovery. It can recover data after deeply scanning your flash drive to look for lost data.
By the way,you can download a trial version and scan your flash drive for free to check out whether your data can be recovered. http://www.any-data-recovery.com/index.htm

Give me 89p7952 motherbord drivers

http://www.driversquality.com/drv2/1841226.html
you will have to choose an operating system
Even if we try to check the files for malware ourselves, we cannot guarantee 100% that they are clean. Keep in mind that the integrity and safety of any downloaded software may be affected if it is modified via unofficial patches or other methods. For your own protection ALWAYS check downloaded files for viruses.
hope this helps

I don't think that you need a bios upgrade for a 'virus' infection - they generally don't go there, as modifications to the flash memory can be tricky and difficult without knowing the flash type; viruses generally affect OS areas as being much easier.

PC will not boot.

go to windows start menu and click on RUN. type in "msconfig'' without quotation marks and click enter. the computer will load the system configuration utility, on the general tab, select normal startup option, then click on the BOOT.INI tab the click on CHECK ALL BOOT PATHS,a dialog box will appear to tell you whether the windows boot directory is OK or not. if it displays that they are Okay, then there may be that a virus has affected those files. you ca also type in "sigverif" without quotation marks, on RUN to launch the windows file verification, click on start to check important windows files for their correct version. try restarting the computer. if your system still can boot, open the computer case to make sure that the hard drive, and RAM are connected correctly. if you still having problems, notify me.

(it sometimes when cleaning system and removing virus affect other files that the virus has latched onto so have driver disk standing by)

BIOS problem

O.k. start by making a bootable disc or diskette to flash the bios with. This should get the machine to recognize the drive. If this is what you did before, do it again, because something didn't download or come out right on the disc. Once you've done the flash, if the hhd still isn't recognized then most likely the virus has done it's damage and the hhd is shot. Just a piece of advice, run only one antivirus, I recommend AVG, it's all you need for antivirus, spyware, and adware, the new 8.0 version is right on. With antivirus, the more the merrier, IS NOT the case. You actually made your system more vulnerable by having several antivirus along with spyware. The antivirus companies have made them to recognize other antivuruses as a threat. So, they conflict with each other, and can't do their job.

What is this?

first install some good antivirus ...
in some files by the name desktop.ini there will be virus called trojan ...
the trojan virus behavior is like that only whichever memory device you insert into your PC just like pen drive, ipod, mobile, memory card etc all the memory device will be affected by this virus so there will be a named desktop.ini ..... inside the system also it keeps multiplying whenever you execute a task inside which that file is present...if you burn any cd or dvd also you will get this file but it will be most probably hidden in both hard disk & in all other memory devices.... this is the behavior of trojan ...

so better you install one good antivirus & let the antivirus detect it & delete them all ....
if possible try giving the search with that filename for all of your hard disk drives & if it searches then delete them all ...(but it will not detect all the files in the hard disk) so it is better to install the antivirus only ...

once you delete all the files there will no problems like slow down of your operating systems etc ....

any doubts you can reply me
i am always here to assist you
thank you
bye
rate my solution as per your satisfaction
