Question about Canon LV 7345 Multimedia Projector
I recieved this projector used from a friend who said it worked great. I plugged it in to my lab top and the projection kinda went black with red lines now I can get the projector to power on and that is all. Help! I dont know anything about projectors so is this just a bad bulb?
SOURCE: Projector does not turn ON
try removing the lamp, usually quite easy, you need to find the door for the lamp. lamps are customer replaceable, usually. If the lamp is bad you can usually see it damaged in the lamp. kind of like you might be able to see the broken filament in your normale house hold light bulb. good luck.

You need to hold the help button on the remote control for ten seconds, that should reset the lamp hour. NEC decided to make it inoperable after 2100 hours on the bulb.

that model has a history of bad ballasts. you'll need to replace it.
