Look up the imposter and Flag their account. When you flag their account and block them, a pop-up menu should pop up with options and one of the options is "Someone is trying to be me"
If you use Google Chrome, try downloading another browser like Firefox or Opera. Now you can stay signed in to your old facebook on the browser you don't use very much =)

You most likely have your Facebook set to stay Logged In, in the upper right corner go to the tab "Account" scroll down to the "Logout" and click. He will then be able to sign in under his account
It may have been hacked, we got ours hacked 2 days ago ring xbox straight away as if you have any credit/debit cards linked to your account they can block them for you and recover the account. Do it straight away as the idiot that hacked ours bought £85 worth of xbox points with my card!
You could check whether account that you are using has parental controls attached to it. This can be found under System preferences then under accounts. Someone can block certain websites if parental controls is activated, to change this you will need an administrators password
