You can try to hook up your PS3 to a different output and if it does the same, you have to replace your cable connecting your PS3 to your video output device. It is saying no signal because your output device might not been able to detect the video signal your PS3 it sending due to a bad cable. Hope it works.
Hi,The settings on the PS3 are sending the video signal throught the hdmi port. Either go through the XMB via sys settings, display settings,or if you only have a low def tv then hold the power for 5 seconds (when you turn it on i belive) and it resets it. You may have to adjust the audio settings at the same time, because if you pressed yes when the HDMI was first connected, you agreed to send the audio signal via hdmi as well.
It sounds like you're carrying interference to your TV. Try moving you station away from any power source. Make sure your hdmi cable is away from any power as well. This may also be a ground issue. Plug your ps3 power brick into a different outlet.
