Your authorized Golden Technologies, Inc. dealer can reverse the thumb lever controls so that when you push on the “left” lever, your scooter will move in the forward direction, and pushing on the “right” lever will move your scooter in reverse.

If you don't want to go to a dealer, any mechanic who is willing can make this adjustment for y ou. hope this helps.

How do you remove the forward/reverse assembly?

You will need to remove the tiller cover to see the assembly. Then you will see the screws to remove. Be sure to disconnect the batteries so you do not short out anything. Scooter Doctor App

My golden companion 2 Gc 321 goes forward when i push reverse and goes reverse when i push forward

It sounds to me like someone has gotten inside & tampered with it, Cameron. Maybe they twisted the drive belt 180 degrees or something? Or rewired the motor backwards?

Sounds like the motor cables are in reverse at the controller. Check that the red is in the positive and the black wire is in the negative on the controller.

Joe with a scooter there can be a number of things wrong to cause your problem Since the motor turns and you have power at the console. It could be the throttle pot or the speed pot or both or it could be the cable that runs from the console to the rear of the scooter and finally a problem with the controller. But that would also give some sort of error to the console light if it is equiped with a power light. If Medicare paid for your scooter then they will pay most of the cost of repair. Your provider can work on it for you or they can contact a repair service that will fix it for you Hope this helps

Golden Companion Scooter not moving - diagnosed via owner manual

Hi. Many scooters will display this fault code if the potentiometer is not exactlly centred when you turn on the key. The pot is not always faulty. Some scooters also have a smaller additional pot to controll the speed. If this pot is faulty it will cause the same fault code. Any other switches such as indoor/ outdoor switches. I have had a few machines fitted with curtis controllers where the fault is in the controller.
Check the wiring and plugs and connectors.
Good luck. Neil.

If the batteries are charged and the brake is in the drive possition, it is possible that either there is a problem with the Wig Wag (forward/reverse paddle control) or the speed pot. Some ideas for you to look at.
