Re: philips GoGear Mp3 player problem
If the player is od the battery may be dead and gone, if not there should be a vry snall pin holeon the player somewhere, once you find it stick smething of the correct size in the hole and push down for thirty seconds, if this doesn't work go to the Phillips website to find that player and search for answers.

HAve you tried resetting the go gear when the fault came in, if not try to reset the go gear. There is a tiny hole on the go gear, use an office pin to push and hold for few seconds to reset,Now the set must work fine. If not connect your gogear to the PC and do a scan for virus or corrupt programmes installed. If so delete, save the listed programmes to the PC and reinstall them back. Use the media convertor software provided when you are converting media files on the go gear or else it will not read or access. Hope the advice helps you. Good day
There is a small hole on the side of the player through which you need to use a small office pin to reset. press it for some 5 secs and release. the playerr would have hung up earlier and is now reset. you can now switch it on. Hope this clears. Good day
You have not mentioned the make/model of the Mp3 player but what could be done is that there is a resett button hidden somewhere on the body. Look for a small pin hole and use an office pin to reset the MP3 player. Now it will turn on. If not connect to the pC and charge the battery, put it on for sometime and check. if not you will need tto check if the batteries have worn out, then replacement is the only solution. Hope this helps. Good day
Dragonclu your fix is very good if this was a computer unfortunately you did not read the problem correctly this is about a standalone stereo system NOT a computer or a computer program. Your problem maybe that your Creative MP3 player is registering as a portable media player which the stereo system does not support chech if theres an option in your MP3 Player to use USB Mass Storage which the stereo system will read and playback
player appears as a USB mass storage device in theMy Computer window. You can organize
files and transfer music to your player while connected via USB connection.

your music in folders. Your player will play your music folder by folder so
that you can organize your music by artists and albums. You can drag and drop
entire folders to your player. Your player will play the music files that are
not inside folders first followed by the music files inside folders
