I have 220v from the breaker and into the machine-but will try to verify again-was leaning towards that posibilty.

Did you locate all the duct fuses? Sometimes they mount one near the filter/blower housing and another neat the heater chamber.

You could have a bad circuit breaker. Have you got 220 coming into the machine?

Did you remove the wires to the components you were testing so you won't get no false reading on your meter?

If you have done all of the above, check your on off switch. It may not be getting or letting power in or out.

My electric Asko t 721 dryer is not heating

You may have an open thermostat or burned out heater element. The easiest and safest way to diagnose the problem is to unplug the dryer, open the control panel, and use an ohmmeter to check for resistance between the temperature selector switch and the opposite leg of the 240 V plug. If it's open at both the medium and low heat terminals, check the thermostats. You'll probably need a wiring diagram to identify the connections - they're color-coded to make it easier.

My Asko dryer shut off and my clothes are still wet. It won't start and the light on the pannel will not come on. I know I probably have lint in the system that escaped the lint trap or maybe something...

YOUR DRYER Has a fuse in it look for it probably somewhere close to where the main power comes in at. if it's good check the heat relay contactor assembly. has the model you have and it may even be as simple as the door switch
