Hi

First remove the cover, air filter and the carburator. Then remove the gas tank cap and the fuel filter from inside of gas tank,at the end of fuel line.Take off the fuel line from the hole of the gas tank(at the top),replace the fuel line, put all back together and start the engine.

How do you remove the clutch cover on a Husqvarna 240e?

With a specialty clutch tool, However you can remove most chainsaw clutches using a hammer and flat head screw driver and give it a few solid taps in counterclockwise rotation (it is reverse thread).

I can start my barracuda but it won't run at more than idle

Timing problems, bad or warn cam shaft lobes, fuel pump going bad, no pressure. Worn corroded rubber gas tank lines, from the tank to the hard lines, just forward of the gas tank, under the car. Inspect for gas leaks.

Talon electric chainsaw has no power, changed the fuse etc...any ideas??

talon chain saws have two control switches before they will start. One is the trigger that you pull and the other is a button or lever that has to be held in at the same time. These two controls mean that you have to have both hands clear of the chain before it works.

I have a newholland tm 130 that loses power and I think it is fuel related I have checked the electronic pump and that seems to have a good output any ideas

If you have good fuel pressure, Next I would remove an O2 sensor between the engine and catalytic converter. Take it for a drive. If you don't loose power, replace the catalytic converter/s. After that have a diagnoses done on the engine and transmission.

My weed eater will not run with the choke setting wide open.

You may have a pinhole or crack in the small hose that runs from the fuel tank to the carburetor. If equipped with a primer it may also have a small crack or pinhole. Either case may cause the carb to suck air instead of gasoline. Other possible reasons are a plugged muffler causing too much back pressure or a partially clogged fuel filter. (The fuel filter on many weed whackers are located inside the fuel tank at the end of the fuel line.)

I have recently purchased a ford 1510 tractor with a 3 cylinder diesel. It seems to have low power and rough idle problem. Middle cylinder seems to not be firing because when i crack open fuel line to...

Hello, I'm not very familiar w/ your model but it could be a
timing problem, the fuel is not being injected at the right time
to fire. On a older J.D.such as the 820 ect. would not inject at the right time, there is a place on the injector pump that corrects it, however, I would call a ford tractor dealer, or go online to www.tractornet.com
and list your problem. There are many people on this site that can and will help you. Good luck.
