Question about Disney Ramone DVD Player
There are no region hacks for the ramone DVD player at the moment, although there will be shortly, you'll just have to watch this space.
If you really want to watch region free DVD's i suggest you download DVD Shrink and install it on the PC, pop the dvd you want watch in the DVD/RW, dvd shrink will remove region codes so can watch them on ANY DVD player (have a blank disk ready so you can burn the decrypted film on to) DVD Shrink is freeware and is not illegal, get it here:
Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!

I checked out Disney's Support page here's what it says:
What are "regional codes," "country codes," or "zone locks"?
Each player is given a code for the region in which it's sold. The player will not play discs that are not allowed in that region. This means that discs bought in one country may not play on players bought in another country.
Regional coding is not an encryption system, it's just one byte of information on the disc that the player checks. Region codes are a permanent part of the disc; they don't "unlock" after a period of time.
There are 8 regions (also called "locales"). Players and discs are identified by the region number superimposed on a world globe. If a disc plays in more than one region it will have more than one number on the globe.
So you won't be able to change the region code on this dvd player unfortunately. The only workaround I can think of would be using dvdshrink to make copies of the originals. The copies would be then be region free so that they will play correctly.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask, please don't forget to rate my solution.
