I need Help!!!

I have had this device since Christmas and it worked fine for a few months and then In April I was listening to music and all of a sudden everything froze, the screen froze and the music stopped... it stayed like this for two days and then decided to work again. It has done that several times... Is there anything I can do to fix this? Also i am having a problem with "bad tracks" i have tried to delete everything from my deivce and start over but it wont let me delete the "bad tracks"... All of the so called "bad tracks" are located in a playlist but everytime i try to delete the playlist my computer says "Windows Media Player Can not delete a file from device" What do i Do?

Re: I need Help!!!

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out:

TruTech MP3 1 GB Player freezing up after no more than 1 min

Please try to reset the player and see whether it helps.
This could be done by inserting a paper clip into the reset hole and press and hold for about 20 seconds.

If this does not help it could be software related issue. Upgrade the firmware via manufacturer's web site.

Here's the deal with WMA files - once your subscription expires (or really,  the license on the WMA file expires) - you will have to renew your music service subscription or the song will no longer play on your device.
Use Mp3 format songs - they'll never give you this problem.

White screen and No recognition to my computer

It sounds like either an LCD screen failure or a motherboard failure. Have you tried the reset button yet? What happens? Does it reset?

My e280 sansa mp3 player is not please....

There is a problem with the device firmware can try to reset the player by holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds or until it resets....the latest firmware for the e280 resolved much of the freezing issues....also there are two modes for you to use the e280 the msc and mtp.....try deleting in mtp mode....if that doenst solve it...just go to the sandisk site to get a firmware upgrade done...and that would solve the proplems..
