Re: Call Out line is lost
If you truly have a TD-816/1232 system consistent with the 74xx series phones, and not the 7130 you posted under, you need to find out what line you lost, or how another phone is programmed.
Go to a working phone, press PROGRAM 99 and the buttons on the key strip. They should say CO-001, 002, 003 etc. Now go to the non-working phone and do the same thing. A C.O. is programmed by the code 0 + the 2 or 3 digit trunk number, so you press the missing line button and dial 0-(0)01 STORE or 0-(0)04 STORE, depending on which end you lost it from.
Pick up the handset and hang it back up to exit programming.

This is a physicians office and in the past we had to dial nine to get and outside line. Recently we updated to where we have to dial one and then the area code. However since the change our answering service can not get calls after hours because i believe our phones are still programmed to dial nine first. Can you please help us reprogram our phones? Thank you.
With luck, flip the manual back a couple of pages and hope that the extensions are restricted via outgoing line access in 605 and 606. It's the easiest way, but there may be some COS restrictions taken care of in 601.
