Question about Kenwood DNX7100 Car Video Player
Make sure the orange wire with white stripe is connected to your dash illumination/parking lamp circuit. There should be a tag on it that says 'ILLUM' (unless the installer clipped it). That should dim the display whenever your lights are on.
If that doesn't do it enough I think your going to have to dial down the brighness - and that will do it for all functions.
