My battery for my mp3 won't last long

If the rechargeable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

It won't turn on at all. It won't even charge. It's only 4 months old. Wasn't dropped or exposed to water or elements. Was working fine yesterday morning, then about 4:30, it was dead. ...

How long did you let it charge, when the device is completely drained of power it may not turn on at first when you connect it. Let it charge for a little while and come back to see if it fixes it. Failing that, your probably going to have to contact apple for warranty help.

Not working

the most common reason that prevents this player from working is the issue of dead battery.
it is possible that you might have used it for quite a period of time that has exceeded the normal battery lifespan and as a result even when you charge it, it cannot retain power to operate the device properly.
Also, you might have left it unused for a long period of time causing the battery to go extremely low that it may even refuse to charge.
Whatever the case may be, your best bet is to take it to a repairer to help you replace the battery if you cannot replace the battery yourself.
hope this helped you? please rate

Aquabeat wont charge

There might be a problem with the connection. Using the player under water for long periods of time can build a sort of calcium on the connections inside the player. Look to see if the internal connection in green, if so you might want to get a really small screw drive and just scrap some of the calcium.
