I have just about the same problem, when I put my new 2gb sandisk card in my camera (kodak easyshare c330) it claims that the card is full but when I put it in my computer it won't read it, the disk pops up (it's hidden until I pop in a card) but claims that there is no card connected =/

First of all make sure that the lock is not on.onside of the card, second if you have media center it should recognize most cards.but as for cameras most come with a cd,you should install it if you have,nt already done that,3 the camera could be full depending on the settings it is on the type of media you stored on the card, but some dont show a name just removable media.click on my computer in the start up menu, and just double click all of the removable media icons, and when you double click make sure you click on open.and also if you do not have any print programs you need to install one, because that will help recognize cameras and memory sticks.good luck hope i helped.

Ma memory card memory 2gb has convert to 0 bytes ,plz help me my email; sana_ullah87@yahoo.com

Put the memory card back into your computer or card reader and open My Computer. Right click on the card once it is recognized and choose format. When the format box comes up, look at the capacity. It should show around 1.89GB on a 2GB card. If it shows zero, your card could be bad.

Need to know what memory card can i purchase and where for kodak easy share c530 my camera is old haven't used much I have a 1.0gb sandisk can i use a 2gb sandisk.

I had a look and it seems 1GB is about the Maximum? yes Sandisk is a good brand. Frankly anything that works well is OK.
Buy a good brand of card ... SanDisk is my favorite.
Kodak would certainly be a good choice too.
Don't buy it on eBay, as there are too many counterfeit cards available on eBay.

A Tip:
If you use a card reader, you will need a SDHC card reader if you use a SDHC card.
Most older card readers can not read a SDHC card.

Tip number 2:
Always format a new card with the Camera before taking any pictures.
You will find how to format with the camera in the camera User Manual.

I have a Kodak LS743 and am trying to put a new SD 4GB into it and it won't let me format it. WHY???

Hi,
Your Kodak LS743 camera is built to use the SD memory card standard - which only goes up to 2GB. Any SD card over 2GB is a new format called SDHC (high capapcity) and isn't compatible with the previous format. This is why you can't use your 4GB card - you have to use a 2GB card.

SanDisk 2gb Micro SD stopped working

some card readers have a max memory size spec - iRock IR-5300 is 2GB - mine did the same thing when I put a 4GB card into it.

The other issue is that there is no drive letter assigned to the card reader - but that will show up as the "Removeable Drive" not even appearing in WE. For that u have to go to the computer manager and find the device and assign a drive letter to it.

Memory Card

make sure that the memory card you bought is a secure digital (SD) memory card. the kodak memory you have might not be an SD card.
