I just bought a used Pasquini Livia 90. It's one of the older versions; serial number 386 if you can believe it.
There are several problems with it. When I first plugged it in it warmed up and expelled steam from the bottom release valve for about 2 minutes. Once it stopped I tried the hot water wand and some dirty water came out, but then it stopped; maybe two tablespoons worth. I tried the brew switch and some steam and water came out of the grouphead but again not much. The steam works fine. In addition, after it warms up if I leave it for a few minutes and press the brew switch it doesn't light up and nothing happens. If I open the steam valve then the light comes on on the brew switch. It will then make noise on and off as I turn the brew switch on and off, but eventually stops and sometimes stays on with the switch off, and sometimes stays off. I looked inside and don't see any loose connections but unfortunately I've never owned one of these before so I'm not sure what it SHOULD be doing, or should look like. I also don't have a service or user's manual. Any thoughts?

Same issue with door handle breaking off on the Samsung SMH7185STG model. Will try to order replacement parts unless there's a better option. This is really a defective model. We bought the Samsung based on it's reputation, but they clearly missed the boat on this model.
