Question about Palm M100

1 Answer

Lose data on palm m100

Is there anyway to avoid losing all the data on my handheld palm m100 when I change the batteries? My Palm M100 handheld is out of sync. I am unable to open Home and have to use the button on the bottom of the handheld to be able to get into my conacts and agend. I am unable to add events to my agenda. When I tap on a contact in my address book it opens a contact three contacts below the one I tapped on.

I have unistalled and reinstalled the software but that has not worked. I have changed the user name that has not worked.

What can I do to solve this issue?

Best way to prevent data loss on palm m100, replacing the battery before it drained completely and replacement must be done in 10 seconds. Another way to prevent keep backup on computer side. You need to use same user profile in order to get previously stored PIM data on computer

A hard reset will most likely work, but make sure to back up using a third party application.

Nope, the memory is violatile and will disappear if you lose your battery charge. If you have sync it before it loses charge, u might have a chance to recover the data
