Hi there
Most Dell computers will have shipped with a software box that contains several types of media. This is the Windows CD and the various application CDs you will use to revert the system. You need to find the operating system CD and recover the system with that.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!!

How do you reset to factory settings on a Dell Latitude D510 laptop without discs?

Only way to do this would be to do a "system restore" without disks you can only hope you have restore points setup... run system restore from control panel and find out..

if no restore points contact dell for a restore disk.. remember the system restore without disks will not remove viruses or other harmful files..

Dell inspiron E1705 laptop to factory settings

System restore: Click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore. Follow all prompts.

Remove printer: Click Start, Control Panel, Printers. Right-click Printer you want removed, then left-click "Delete".

If you restore the computer to a point in time BEFORE you installed the printer, you can skip doing the remove printer option I wrote above.

Those fixes can be done one-handed (with your mouse).
