Question about Dryers
Hi my dryer is not getting hot at all. modle num. LGN2000PGO i ordered a thermal fuse item 2986 didn't work then I order a cycling thermostat with internal-bias (heater) L155-25 still not getting hot now what do i do now. my whirlpool gas dryer is not getting hot. I already replaced the ignightor and still no heat.
Have you checked the gas valve to make sure that it is functioning correctly?

It may be the element has gone bad. You can visibly check it to see if it is bad. Quite simply the wire will be burned in two. I assume your drum is turning o.k.

Thermal fuse. If the dryer overheats, this device stops the flow of electricity to the heat source and/or the entire dryer. It is located on the blower housing and cannot be reset. The most common cause for overheating is a vent tube clogged with lint, a birds nest or other debris.
