SOURCE: password block

0000 is usually the default password for any bluetooth. Mind you, if the bluetooths password has been changed then the default password is useless.

With the jawbone turned off, press at the same time the turn on button and the noise reduction button. The jawbone should blink white and red for three minutes, in that time you shoul be able to find it as a bluetooth device in the free hnd configuration of the palm centro. than yu complete the conection by inserting the code. The next time you turn on the jawbone it will connect with te palm.

Its locked up

Is your Palm Centro device locked up and frozen. You might want to try a hard reset. Here’s how.

1. Remove the battery from the rear of the unit.

2. Hold down the power button while reinserting the battery.

3. When the second Palm logo appears, release the power button.

4. Press the Up button to complete the hard reset and erase all data on the Centro.

Passkey

The passkey is 0000. If you have a problem, reset the headset. Turn the headset off and hold down the call button for 8 seconds until the headset flashes blue and red signaling that it is in pairing mode for the next 120 seconds. While the headset is in pairing mode, use the phone menu to search for Bluetooth devices and select "220Plantronics." (If the headset is already listed in the Bluetooth menu, delete it before searching to pair the device.) When prompted for a passkey, enter 0000. Headset will falsh blue when paired successfully.

Bluetooth connection problems

I cannot say I have the answer to this, but I am using a Jabra JX10 and it is working well. I previously had a Nokia 6256i, which I loved, but wouldn't work with the bluetooth at all. If you have not tried a Jabra, I would recommend it. Also, if you haven;t tried for a replacement phone, consider the possibility it might be the phone itself.

Forgot how to par my bluetooth PLT 510 to my Palm Centro

To pair with a Bluetooth device:
  1. Make sure the device's Bluetooth radio is on.
  2. Set the handset's Bluetooth discover mode to On.
  3. Select the appropriate Bluetooth accessory.
  4. Enter your PIN number.

Once a Bluetooth accessory has been paired with the device, it can be used with the device, without the need for re-pairing, assuming the appropriate profile exists for the required service.

I have a m2500 plantronics bluetooth heasdset and it will not connect to my new palm centro

All you have to do is connect and pair the two together, the bluetooth will flash a purple light when it is connected to your phone. make sure your bluetooth is charged if you use it, a flat battery will also make it not connecting to your phone.
