Question about Kyocera Office Equipment & Supplies
The KM 3050 has suddenly started printing faintly. I have checked the obvious and there is plent of toner left, the exposure is on maximum and I have cleaned out what I can - any ideas?
This could have been caused by a number of things. The transfer roller, a spongy looking black roller on the left door could be broken somewhere so the roller does not keep pressure on the paper and aid in transfer of tone from the drum to the paper. Check that or you may need to refresh your developer so you need to enter 1087 1087 on the key pad, this will take you to a maininance mode and then enter 130 and start this will take you to a screen and will say something like setting developer, tap execute and then push the start button and after a few minutes your machine will have refreshed your developer. Then hit clear a few times and enter 001 and start witch would take you back to the copier screen. if this does not work just shut your copier off then on and your machine will have reset. Try the Copies agian. Hopefully that will work.
