I've had my acer 5538 laptop for less than about a year now.. but now the charger isn't charging anywhere that i plug it in. what can i do?

Whenyou connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED light up? Ifnot then - The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's powersocket could be faulty. Check power adapter's DCplug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltageshould be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on thebottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that isprinted on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK thenconnect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/batterycharging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's powersocket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position thisLED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a drysolder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but itrequires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket andrepair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

The internet signal is full and connected but the brower wont respond or open at all it is an acer netbook zg5 aspire one series

Go to File and click the Use Online or Work Online option. Most probably you had a network outage for a second, and the browser switched to Offline work, and now you'll need to remind it to get online again.
If this doesn't work, then go to Start-Run, and type CMD. In the new window, type

If you get results that google has responded and you have no loss of packets then your computer is OK and it's a browser related issue. Maybe a reinstall of the browser may help (assuming that you didn't change any settings in your firewall).
If however, the ping results in a 100% loss, then you'll need to check out your network settings.

I need a Replacement Notebook Battery for Acer Aspire 7520-5757 11.1V 4000 mAH Can I use a Replacement Notebook Battery for Acer Aspire 7520-5757 that has: 14.8 Volt 4400 mAH Will the volt...

No, you should NOT use a battery with different voltage. It may not fry your computer, but it will certainly not work/charge properly.
But it seems impossible, that two batteries of the same symbol have different voltages - one is 3-cell type (3x3.7V lithium cells) and the other is 4-cell (4x3.37V). This usually means, that the second battery will be physically larger (4 groups of cells instead of 3).

If your original battery reads 11.1V, then it's most probably the correct voltage - perhaps there's a typo on the website? Try to consult them so they double-check the specs of this battery.
