Question about Mitsubishi WD-62725 62" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
Mitsubishi wd-62825 tv dlp what causes a green light on front of tv blinking fast on and off and tv will not turn on Looks like I'm not the only one with this problem. Although my model is the 62725, the green light just flashes rapidly and the tv won't turn on. Tried the re-set button and unplugging for various lengths of time. It's only 4 years old.
No you can rebuild the Board yourself very easily!!
It is easily fixable for about $10
That is an extremely common problem with Mitsubishi tvs old and new. It can be fixed easily and cheaply for those willing to use their hands.

If the green front panel LED blinks continuously and the TV never comes on, its an issue with the "DM" board. When these TVs are first plugged in, the green LED should blink for 30 sec. to a minute or so. This is the TV booting up, reading its software. Mitsubishi has been having problems with this circuit for several years. In may cases the only permanent solution is to have the chassis rebuilt by Mitsubishi at considerable cost and inconvience. The chassis may have to be sent back to Mits for this rebuild. Call Mits and ask for help.
