Question about Avaya 5610 IP Phone
I want to configure Avaya's IP Phone 5610. After giving server's IP and other settings it restarts and displays Discover with Avaya Server 's IP Address e.g
Ensure the reachability of the call server from that port. To ensure the same, configure a laptop with the IP address and default gateway of the intended IP phone. Then try pinging the call server from the laptop.
If this works then the setting should work for IP phone too. Double check on the router IP address and Vlan ID configured on the phone.

What IP did you give the phone? When it says discover, its looking for the call server, which it is not finding.
Which system is this on? If IP office, you may need to build an IP route in the system for that subnet.
