Scan stuck sending

I have a konica 250 and I have been scanning onto a public folder on my computer and the other day it stopped working. The scan doesn't appear in the folder but does appear on the list of jobs. I can't delete it. Is there a way to RE SPOOL the scan like you respool the printer? I tried respooling the printer but that didn't work. I am at a loss.

Be sure to enter your password when making changes to scan from internet explorer. I tried to make a minor change in a touch screan name and didn't enter the password from my computer and that's why the scan was stuck and undeleteable.

You can fix this by turning of the printer using the white or black switch on the left back side. Unplug the ethernet/network connection and turn it back on. The scan should have dissappeared after 2 minutes. Plug the network connection back in. Access the fax machine through internet explorer (http:// the ip address) and access the scan one touch button. Type in the password (because although it looks like something is there, it really isn't a password). Re-apply. Problem solved.

Another solution is that if you exported your hot keys as a txt file and saved it somewhere. You can just reload it and it will return it to the previous state. This will work well if you planned ahead. If you didn't take the time to export your hot keys then you're out of luck and will have to try something else like reloading the scan program.

How to scan to smb with konica minolta bizhub 250

create a folder on the pc you want to scan to and share the folder on the network. This must be done or the printer will not see the folder. Then register a new SMB user on the bizhub and direct it to that pc's IP and the shared folder.

Bizhub c350 will not scan to hdd

Easiest way is to change to SMB scanning which will give you direct scanning to PC or server. Create a new address in the machines address tab in the browser add the (must be a fixed) ip address of the machine it is going to with the folder name, user name and password and it will work a treat.

You need to create a "one-touch"
This can be done in the Admin Screen without having to enter a code.
Better yet is to just yype the IP address into your browser and create them there.
The copier will need an email address in order to send them and you may need to log out and then back into the 250 as an "Admin".

Scanning documents

You need to use the Scan to SMB function.
First create a folder, share it over your network.

Go to the MFP and under the scan to SMB enter the IP and path to the folder, enter the ID and password for the computer.

This will scan to the shared folder.

Scanning

NotAnExpert,

I believe that you will be able to change that setting by using the web interface for the Konica Minolta.

Open your browser and enter the following:

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx represents the IP address of your Printer.

This should open your configuration interface. In the center of the page there should be a series of tabs: System, Job, File, Print, Scan.

Choose Scan and toward the bottom of your page you should see the destination folder that goes to your now defunct computer. Click on that folder and it should bring up the Job Type Page - yours should be set to File (Scan to PC). Select next and it should allow you to enter the name for the new folder and the IP address for the new computer.

I hope this helps.
