Check how the external device is connected to the PC. If it uses a docking station, check/clean the contact pins. Additionally you may want to check/replace the cable, serial or USB or whatever it is used to connect top the computer.

Do a system restore or reinstall active synch.

    Try first unplugging computer and all devices from power, and removing PDA battery, this is called hard reset and sometimes can fix the problem.

    If hard reset did not fix the problem, then try removing the partnership from both my device and PC. ?
    Then reset reset the phone/pda you want to synch, reboot the computer and connect establishing a new partnership with the device.

    If that did not work , try doing a system restore to a date before you started experiencing the problem.

    If this does not work try reinstalling active synch, and the application that is giving you the problem.

I have an LG Air Conditioner (model LST243H-2). The circuit switch (in the fuse box unit) keeps switching over to off. My apologies that I'm not technical in my explanation!


Please do not activate again.Call repairman. The circuit switch trips due to:

1. Compressor hing amps. 2.Any short circuit.3.Compressor grounded.

By resetting the breaker without rectifying the fault will make major expenditure and also (sometime) major hazards. Hope, you keep my advise.

I brought samsung tv before 1 year date on 6/11/2009 and before warrenty expire i make complain for voice humming and colour patch but your technical engineer come on 4/11/2010 and he didnt do anything...


I don't know what your local ruling is regarding warranty repairs but in Europe, if a fault is reported before the warranty period has expired and the fault is not rectified for a period of at least 3 months, the warranty for that fault continues until the fault is rectified.
I should contact Samsung now and explain the situation to them. Write it all down and don't delay!

I faxed something last week and lost the transmisson verification report, can it be re-printed? does my fax keep it in memory?


It's possible to print a Fax Activity report which would show both incoming and outgoing fax activity. To do this, do the following:
  1. Press Reports
  2. Use arrow keys < > to select 3. Fax Activity
  3. Press Set
If Fax Activity hasn't been set up, do the following:

Setting the Fax Activity Report Interval
You can set the machine to print activity reports at specific intervals (EVERY 50 FAXES, 6, 12, 24 hours, 2 or 7 days). If you set the interval to OFF, you can print the report by following the Steps in the next page.

  1. Press Menu, 2, 4, 2.
  2. Press or to choose an interval,
    and then press Set.
    (If you choose 7 days, the LCD prompts you to choose a day at which to begin
    the 7-day countdown.)

yes you can go into additional fuctions button then go into reports and turn off error reporting and activity reporting, or its under communication settings

Ipaq 4700 active sync problems


i can try to help you , first are you using xp or vista ? and which version of active sync ? i found that after upgrading to active sync v4.5 my ipaq 4700 refused to sync , i have xp home , so by trial and error i learned several things , i tryed my usb cable in every usb slot i had , only to find some usb ports are more friendly to certain devices , for a lack of better terms , i deleted all partnerships in active sync , found that i needed to make sure active sync is not running on ipaq , go to settings / memory / running programs on the ipaq , stop all running programs , turn the ipaq off , then on the pc made sure firewall not locked , plug usb cable into pc , i leave mine in a port permanently , plug into the ipaq , it automatically turns the ipaq on , then i see 2 icons in pc system subtray start blinking , at that point i know sync is going to work , then active sync icon starts turning , lit up in green , and asks do you want to create a partnership , yes , follow prompts , and thats what has been working for me , now if i was to put the usb cable into a different port , no doubt it would give me grief , and the same thing with my phone and active sync , make sure active sync is not running on the device , sometimes i have to reset the unit , ipaq or phone , make sure unit is turned off them make the connection , give it a try .

N73 locked i think


Not locked otherwise it would say "insert sim card" sounds like either your phone is barred of it has a fault. If its barred it means its been reported lost or stolen (not saying it has!) if its a software fault and it needs flashing just take it your local unlocking shop i charge £10 in my shop

USB connectivity for Jornada 520


This may be a simple case of removing all the entire active sync directory. If you used to connect via serial+com it wont be detected on usb. Remove active sync from your pc via the add remove program feture, then reboot and re install. Then run the make a connection again from active sync. Hope this helps

Problems with installing Active Sync on Windows xp.


Do you use companion CD for Active sync installation? Can you please tell me which driver is necessary to have? Is there any error message and what is content of this message? It can also be that Active Sync is already installed! Please check at Add and remove Software in Control panel! Otherwise go to www.microsoft.com and download a current version of active sync
