Thanks for all the help! I will give you a brief background of issue and you would be able to suggest the best thing for me. The sound IC on my mother board blew up due to earthing problem. I added a Tech-Com sound card in the PCI slot and after that I could listen to voice files from my system. Now my hard disk has some bad sectors and I have given it for repair. I'm using a provisional hard disk with OS as XP. My system is working fine, except the sound. I'm not able to hear any voice out put from my system. I figured out that I have lost the sound Driver CD and the mother board CD. I tried realtech sound drivers which worked earlier. which comes dowm to the mother board drivers. Do you know any other way I can have the voice out put working on my system?

I have also tried the installing all the drivers on this link. But I'm still not able to hear any sound from my system.

sorry forgot to say, you cant download all the drivers like you would have had on your disk, youll need to do 1 at a time now im afraid

  • mark hudson Feb 17, 2009

that would be because youve changed the question from needing motherboard drivers to added a sound card and need drivers for the sound card.

The drivers from the links provided are the correct answer but to your original question, the sound driver wont work for your sound card.

Can you tell me the model number thats on the sound card?

I don't see it jesus_is_989.

Do not see built-in wireless capability.

1) http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2373#sp

2) Do not see wireless drivers listed for any of the Windows versions,

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2373#dl

(Windows XP, 32 or 64-bit. Windows Vista, 32 or 64-bit. Windows 7, 32 or 64-bit. Windows 2000. Windows Server 2000, 32-bit )

3) Do not see it listed in the motherboard manual,

We are talking about your computer connecting wirelessly, to a wireless router, right?

[Using computer geek 'license' to alter the English language, ->Wirelessly. Lol! ]

Wireless:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless

Means to me you are using a Wireless Adapter Card,

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3246388&CatId=2697

(Just one example out of many)

,or a wireless USB adapter,

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5320992&CatId=2688

(Just one example out of many)

Post back in a Comment as to what you are using for a wireless adapter. Also, wireless routers do go bad. Usually the Electrolytic Capacitors inside go bad.
