first, you have to use an authorized smtp server. It's usally the smtp of your provider.

This smtp may be protected :

    - you may have to pop (receive your email) before smtp

    - you may have to dns (use the dns server of the provider) before smtp

    - you may have to use secured smtp (different port)

    - your provider may block smtp port

This problem occurs often with sbs2003. Can you explain your configuration and if you see an error message.

In case of a sbs2003, the solution is to go in the properties of the smtp virtual server and set the smart host to your smtp provider.

You may just have to open port 25 on your Nokia firewall with a Rule... and make sure that you allow port 25 only from your server IP address.

What version of software are you running? I have noticed issue with ssh on version 8.2(3) and below.

You can try to remove all ssh access and then add it back. Also you can try zeroizing and regenerating the crypto key.

Unable to access mailserver from out side my office

I have no idea what firewall you are using. Your posting is lacking crucial detail and that makes this almost impossible to answer you. However, I use a Cisco 5520 in a Data Center and i Host my own Exchange server. This is what you have to do to allow inbound and outbound SMTP traffic in that type of environment.

name (Internal IP here) Exchange description Internal mail server

access-list Inside_access_in remark Allow internal Exchange Server to send SMTP email outbound.
access-list Inside_access_in extended permit tcp host (Internal IP Here) any eq smtp

access-list outside_access_in remark Allow external entities to send SMTP email to Exchange Server
access-list outside_access_in extended permit tcp any host (Public IP Here) eq smtp

Hope this helps you.

Often times if you try placing a call and actually dial a number and hit connect it will ask you if you want to exit flight mode. Give that a try.

I want the sender see it ''deleted without reading''

You cannot do that.
However, HOTMAIL does allow you to "block sender",
i.e., all messages from a specific E-mail ID iwll be blocked.

How to load my smart bro prepaid broadband kit

There are 2 ways to reload your Smart Bro load card:

1. Buy a Smart Bro Load Card, then using any Smart GSM cellphone, text: Reload <PIN><Smart Bro Prepaid number> and send to 1510.

You will receive an SMS from 1510 showing the updated Prepaid balance. In addition, you will receive another SMS on your Smart Bro modem message inbox confirming load receipt.

2. Go to a Smart Load retailer.

Your firewall keeps a log of events. It periodically overwrites or starts a new log. It has a place in it's settings to put an email address so that it can send these logs to person overseeing this device. It is upset because it is trying to email the log to you but their is something wrong with the email address it is trying to send it to (could be empty, typo, etc...), find and check the setting for email address.

Firewall trouble shooting

Restart your computer and immediately start pressing F8
A list should appear, select Safe Mode with Networking
Try Runescape and see if it updates, if it does there is something running n your system that is blocking the conection.
If it cannot update we need to know if you have a router or gateway and it's make and model.
