Philips SpeechExec Pro Transcribe doesn't have a serial number type licensing; it uses Dongle or SmartKey licensing, a physical device attached to a USB port on your machine.
However, if your software was version 5, and you had a SmartKey license (it is black, like a memory stick, with a red barcode), you might have downloaded the license from the SmartKey to your PC, an option which is handy to release a USB port, but which obviously proves costly if your PC crashes.
If this is the case, uninstall the software, and reinstall it; during re-installation, choose to run the SmartKey Wizard, and make sure your SmartKey is connected to the PC; the Wizard will recognise that your license has been downloaded, but it will give you a 30 days grace, during which you can use the software. Incidentally the Colour of the LED on the SmartKey will change from Amber to Red.
You then need to contact your Philips equipment provider, and explain that your PC crashed and you lost the SmartKey license in the disaster; if they are proper suppliers (MDCi or MDCe), they will ask you to send the SmartKey, and will send you a new one...
I hope this helps!!

Hello first you need to have a transcription software program, there is a different transcription software and depends on the one you used, that's the pedal that you will need, or you can buy the complete kit pedal and software any of the following can work for you.
