I just went through a long session with Engin technician as I was having trouble with their phone/internet etc. At the end, the technician said I should immediately contact you for help to upgrade the DSL502T modem I'm using. I'm an older person, so not all that clued in with technical stuff- can you help, please? Do you have a technician in Australia??

It sounds like you have interference on the line, and your mailbox for your phone is not set up, or functioning correctly.

You need to call your phone Company/Provider to have this resolved.

Does this help? Let us know.

Uniden Dect 6.0 d1384-2 display says searching

I have the uniden 3005 accessory handset that pairs with the uniden 3015. I tried all the above holding down of buttons etc. none of that worked. I finally rang uniden and the technician said to put the accessory phone on the base unit where it's connected to the phone line. This worked and the phone registered, then I returned it to its own base that it came with. Uniden need to amend their manual wording so that it reflects the above steps.

I can't changed name on my phone. please help me.

The extension names can be changed in admin programming from a predesignated programming phone. Typically this phone is the attendant phone as in ext 100 or ext 101.This phone needs to have an LCD screen.

1) Press <program>
2) Dial **1234(1234 is the default admin password)
3) Dial 004 for Ext name programming
4) Press <enter>
5) Dial extension number that you want to change name of as in 102
6) Enter name (20 characters or less )
7) Press <enter> to store
8) Press <end> or lift handset and return to cradle to end programming session

I'm able to make calls but can't receive incoming calls, the phone doesn't ring! I'm not an idiot, I've turned the volume up high, no call forwarding on, etc etc etc... it just doesn't ring

one of two things. A problem with the phone or a problem in the telephone lines. Call your phone service provider and ask them to run a test on the line. If the test shows a problem they will likely dispatch out a technician to repair the problem. This is a common problem usually stemming from a ground on the ring side of your cable pair. I'd check with a corded phone at your telephone interface first because if it's an equipment or inside wiring problem the phone company will likely charge you for dispatching out a technician.

Trouble shooting my phone

Some phones dont accept the different ringtones we now have. You know how they offer poly and mono? Perhaps you bought a mono ringtone when your phone only use poly or maybe the other way around.

If you bought a ringtone by a tv add, then that may be the case.
If you have internet on the phone, and bought it off there it will depend which phone company you are with. Look up their site vodaphone.com virgin.com etc. , and have a look at their help section.

With vodaphone, I know that once you buy it from the internet on the mobile, you download it autmatically. But you have to save it.

Hope that helps somewhat.

one thing you could check immediately is the filter, they do go faulty sometimes, just swop it with another one that you know is a good one.
