Question about Acer Aspire 5500 5570-2609 Laptop
Computer states: Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
Please re-install a copy of the above file.
Submitting this with another computer because can't do absolutely nothing with the Acer. Please Help!!!
If you have a Recovery Partition .. you can access it by powering on while holding the F-10 key... (some models use a different F-key)..There you can restore or recover windows.. If no Partition exists, you will need a windows OS cdrom and boot to it, at the first screen it stops at, press R to get to your Repair Utility Screen.. Choose the Proper Hard Drive Partition From the choices given, and once it gets to the prompt... type fixboot.... when that finishes, type fixmbr... reboot..
