    Hi Again,,

Okay Im doing something wrong. I am still unable to insert picture in email....

Im only sending pictures to family member, which are aol. Its very fustrating, because my son is in Iraq, I sent him loads of pictures as attachements, and he said on his lap top attachements take to long. He said to insert the pictures to him....But I cant do that. I never had this problem, till about maybe two months....Its got to be something I did to this computer, but I dont know how to check. Once in a while when I have trouble signing in, it says something about plugins? anyway this is the msg that displays when I try to insert a picture in an email..

We're working hard on newer and better features to add in your AOL MAIL. you can still send pictures as attachments by using the Attached File bottom. this is what I keep getting everytime I try to insert a picture in emails...

Agan thank you so much for trying to solve this problem for me...I greatly appreciate it.

Yes I have been having same problem with aol..inserting pics! It is taking them forever to fix this issue!! I would suggest using default mail client as someone else said, then all you would have to is right click and it will send it in email. HTH!! =)

It is nothing you are doing wrong. AOL has discontinued this service and they are going to reintroduce it later as better/faster/whatever.

I have the same problem with putting pictures in AOL like I was used to doing. Now, I found out today, if I open an email and then open my picture folder where my pictures are... I just click on the picture and drag it to the email. Works just fine.

I can notget my pictures to go out E-Mail

Have you tried using the Insert option, rather than attach? It will also offer you the directory of folders, and you
go to the same location,
select the same picture
, then
accept that selection.
Most times, this is what is needed.
The problem may then be the size of the photo file. If it is high resolution, and large, it will be too big for your email window, so then you may try to click on the photo, then right-click and if options appear, select the one closest to re-size picture.
I hope this helps.
Cheers!

I have just purchsed a 4gb usb2 flash drive . I am wanting to copy some pictures from my desktop and put them on my new laptop . Can anyone tell me how to do this in simple language as i do not understand...

Hi. All you have to do is:

- Insert your new USB flashdrive in an empty USB slot in your desktop computer.

- A new window will appear and will ask you what you want to do with that device... Choose "Open folder to view files".

- Then just leave it there and go to the file(s) you want to copy, right click on i and click "copy"

- Go back to your USB folder, right click on an empty space on that folder and click "paste". That will copy the files into your USB flashdrive.

- Remove the USB flashdrive from your desktop.

- Insert it into your laptop's empty USB slot.

- A new window will appear and will ask you what you want to do with that device... Choose "Open folder to view files".

- Highlight all the files you want to copy from USB flashdrive folder, right click and click "cut".

- Go to your laptops folder where you want to copy the files, right click on an empty space and click "paste".

Thanks for using Fixya!

I want to transfer pictures from my toshiba laptop to a memory stick can you help please thank you

Insert your memory stick to your laptop, if your laptop has a memory stick slot or in the USB slot (if it is supported). If it doesn't have on you need a memory stick card reader. Insert your memory stick on a card reader then insert the card reader into the USB slot.

After that your laptop will prompt you and choose "view folder".

Now go to the folder where your pictures is located and choose the pictures you want to transfer and then right click on it and click "copy".

Go back to the folder of your memory stick, right click and then click "paste".

That should do it.

Thanks for using fixya!

Update me if you still have questions and let me know how I helped you.

How do I transfer individual pictures from an email to a flash drive?

for the attachments on email, you can either drag the attachment going to the flash drive or save all the pictures first on your computer and copy it to the flash drive.

My e-mails are not forwarded properly. how can we fix it?

Sometime it depend on what kind of account are using? For Exchange accounts sometimes it may just be that, sometimes it may just be that the status had no change to upload the changes to the server.Open up your forwarded email.Find the button that says "Forward" and click on it. You can easily tell how many times it's been forwarded by the number of Fwd's in the subject line.
Scroll down the list of email headers to get to the content of the email.Edit the email to remove any forwarded email addresses and unnecessary text from the message
After reading it, decide if it's worth passing on.
If the email is worth passing on, or even if it isn't and you just can't help yourself, hit the Forward button on your email program.
Insert your email address in the To: field. "make sure you read correctly, your own email address."
Insert anyone else you want to send the email to in the Cc:, Bcc: highlight the field and delete headers.Press Ctrl+A to select all "highlight all"
With your mouse pointer. And press delete from the keyboard

Type any message you want to add to the email to send.
Click(press) send.

Good Luckthanks

Can't attach pictures in email

Some anti-virus programs will prevent pictures based on extensions from being sent via email. Check to see if this is so if you got any updates from your anti-virus program. You can send them if you change the extension from .bmp, or .jpg or whatever to .txt. Mind you that there may also be a size limitation from your ISP of maybe 10 MB per email
