Question about Sharp Aquos LC-37GD6U 37 in. LCD HDTV

No red light no power

My lcd tv is not turning on i had a red light which means it was getting power and now all of a sudden no red no power i dont know what is wrong.

    Have you tried unplugging your TV for 20mins and used the reset buttons on the back of the TV?

The probability is you have a bad power supply board. have the set checked. They need to see if the standby b+ is present.

For your TV the power light will be red when the TV is turned off using the power button on the top of the TV. Press the power button on top of the TV if that does not work then try turning the power off at the power switch on the bottom of the TV then turn it back on after a minute ior so and see if you can turn it on using the power button.

this again sounds like the power supply,.if you hear a click when you push the power button, this means your main board is reading good so replace the power supply,.

No display issue


Red means it is going into shutdown because something is wrong.

It will not come on again until problem is found and corrected.

What is model number and do you have a warranty?

try to disconnect all external devices connected to your LCD TV then try to turn it on again then wait for a minute. if the problem persist you need to get it serviced by Dynex.

Mean ur tv have a power supply board problems,tv is not getting correct power voltages from the power supply board anymore.That the board,where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Tv turns off


Hi there, my husband fix the problem. My small son had changed the settings for the HDMI. My husband switched the tv to DVD mode started a dvd & changed all the settings back. After changing all the settings he also reboothed the setbox machine.
