My Father in Law has an RCA P61310. The Satellite will no longer work on it. You can switch inputs and watch movies or play video games, but the satellite won't work. When you plug into ant A it says weak signal, and when you plug it into ant B it says no signal. We called the Satellite company to come out and they said it was a problem with the TV. Any ideas what it could be?

Re: RCA P61310 Works on all inputs but ant a
The other inputs bypass the tuner, so I'd be looking at tuner failure. RCA sets are known for having poor solder connections inside the tuners. I would start there. If you are not comfortable with working insode the set or can not solder, check with a local service shop to get an estimate for resoldering/replacing the tuner.

Tv does work for HD but must have cable or satellite tv signal.Yes,this tv able to play HD signal, but it is a CRT-(tube tv) design was built before the DTV switch over and never added the DTV tuner in it board circuitries.Sorry antena free DTV this tv must have to added the converter box to get the DTV free air signal.
This isn't a solution but I am unable to acccess the input either. My tv is hooked to a dvd,vcr and direct tv satellite with a dvr. I watched a movie on the dvd and the tv won;t allow me to switch the input back to satellite tv.
I believe you need the original remote to switch the input to video . I found the remote shown at PartStore.com with the original RCA part number 242524 at about $37.00 and also at MCMelectronics.com at around $31.00. There may be other sources also. Good luck.
Maybe a vacant channel or input is tuned.
• If watching VCR (connected only through antenna input), make sure TV is tuned to channel 3 or 4 – same as CH3/4
switch on VCR. Also check to make sure the TV/VCR button on the VCR is in the correct “mode.”
• Simultaneously press the POWER and CHANNEL DOWN buttons on the front panel to reset the TV.
