Fatal error code

231:fatal error 03 (as noted on display)

what does this mean and can it be cleared without service call. budget super tight and trying to pay someone to fix it if remote assistance and information can be gathered.

thank you!

I have the Oki 5650 which had been great for about 18 months. Then found that the C cartridge was showing error as 'not installed'. After much fiddling about with it and checking on the internet I can now rectify this by either pushing down on the top of the printer while it boots up, or removing the small chip on the left top of the toner (make sure you have 'earthed' yourself to prevent any static damaging the chip when you handle it!) and taping securly onto the top of the cartridge above the chips proper slot. This now has been working OK for 6 months. Strange how this only affects the C cartridge (which has also been replaced and had the same problem). I suspect that the printers RFID chip reader for the C cartridge is having problems reading the chip and moving the chip closer to the reader by either taping to the cartridge top of puching on the top cover while printer boots up resolves the problem (for now anyway!) This can also trigger the 'service call 231 fatal error 03' message which also disappears if you follow the above procedure.

Hope this helps you.

Switch off printer. Unplug power source from printer. Re-plug same and power up again. Should work Have same problem with OKI 5900

Same problem with OKI C5950. Shut down power and plug on power again is my solution. Problem appears first with using refill toner not the original one.

Happens with refilled cartridges. You MUST insert the new chip that comes with the refill. If you get the error message after doing so remove the new chip, rotate it 180 degrees and reinsert it into the cartridge. Solved the problem for me!

Hi,

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

goodluck!

Do you want combinations or permutations? They're different things. A combination of n items taken m at a time, sometimes written "nCm", selects m items from a group of n without regard to order. A permutation of n items taken m at a time, sometimes written "nPm", selects m items from a group of m with regard to order.

Given six numbers, there are six combinations of one number, 15 combinations of two numbers, 20 combinations of three numbers, 15 combinations of four numbers, six combinations of five numbers, and one combination of six numbers.

Given six numbers, there are six permutations of one number, 30 permutations of two numbers, 120 permutations of three numbers, 360 permutations of four numbers, 720 permutations of five numbers, and 720 permutations of six numbers.

What do you want Darrell?

Code reader or Professional scan tool?

I think your going to need a shop to work on it

Without wiring diagrams your done

You have to chase every wire from the under dash

connect to their ends, until you fix the issue & can

connect to the Bus & Data stream,we can't help with that

If there was a question it is not clear. I will show you what commutativity works. Whether that answers your lack of question remains to be seen.

Commutativity of multiplication (or the commutative property of multiplication) means that the order of the factors in a product does not affect the result. In other word, the order of factors is unimportant.

3*7+2 =7*3+2=23

2*7*3=2*3*7=7*2*3=7*3*2=3*2*7=3*7*2=42

Bot are numbers that are written in two different representations. To compare them safely you must convert them to the same representation.

0.08=8/100 or 8%

Now compare 8 % and 6%

Another way to do it is to convert 6% to its decimal representation then compare it to 0.08

6%=6/100=0.06

Since we have fractions let us just compare them. When comparing fractions, we first convert them to the same denominator (here it is 100). The greater one is the one with the greater numerator: 8 is greater than 6.

**Conclusion: No, 0.08 is not less than 6%**

if you mean {7(2)2+[(3-2)-4x(3)]2} or 7(2)2+[(3-2)-4x(3)]2

{28+[(1)-12]2}

{28+[-12]2}

{28+-24}

=4

or if it was 4x not 4 times

{7(2)2+[(3-2)-4x(3)]2}

28+[(1)-12x]2

28+-24x

=-28x+28

How does the bulb look? Is it bright or kind of dim. The bulb warming error is designed to halt use of the machine until the scanner bulb reaches the correct output level. As these are basically a flourescent tube, they will dim over time and at a certain point they will not generate enough light to enable proper scanning. If the bulb is dim, it will require replacement.

Have tried several times since getting this message. Provided no solution to this error message. Pulled out standby injet printer and using it. Man, I miss my double sided color laser printer!

Just got "FATAL ERROR 03" on a OKI c5600.

the fault was that on the upper left corner of the toner there is a small plastic door, and inside of that a small chip of some kind.

My problem was that the plastic door had gone missing and the chip hade fallen out, not completley, it was haning on the edge.

So my guess to all you that get this error is that you machine looses contact with this chip.. it's one in every toner.

Cheers
