Question about Toro Lawn Mower With Toro Power Tools
I have a fairly new Toro trimmer and i'm going to try and re-string it myself...do you recommend doing this? If so, what do i use to re-string it and what is the best method of doing it?

There sould be a knob that turns counterclockwise to take spool off. If not there sould be two taps that push in and pull down on what they call the spool head. Hopefully this will help you.

I am having the same problem - the spool should just come off by turning it counter-clockwise but is completely stuck. This model does not have any tabs that need to be pushed in to get the spool off. Very frustrating!

Look for a couple small windows on the sides of the center knob that sticks out, push in on these, they are tabs that hold the center knob on, after that the string bobbin should slip right out.
