i tried holding the home and power it on and off and it could not restore because of some errrrrrrr what to do?any 1 please help

Does your computer recognize the ipod? If so, what happens when you press restore in iTunes?

-   We have the same problem and when we try to recover the ipod touch, it gets stuck in the verifying software screen (for hours). What are we doing wrong? -   donbo5
