Check you water source, check for crimped hoses, check water source valve, these are all outside of your dishwasher, internally it may be the solenoid which allows water into the unit. did it quit all of a sudden/ then i suspect a internal part failure.. RB

Here is a tip that I wrote that will help you with your dishwasher not draining
If you've installed it recently make sure the hot water tap was plumbed in and not the cold water tap, check the hot water tap temp in the house to make sure it's getting warm, there also should be a heating element located inside of the dishwaher that heats up to help the dishes dry at the end of the wash cycle, which is controled by a thermostat. If the heating element or the thermostat are bad your dishes won't dry.
Check to make sure regular dish soap did not end up getting inside the dishwasher. This will create a lot of suds that will overflow onto the kitchen floor. Standing water from not draining can mean the drain hose is clogged somewhere or the check valve has something caught in it. If you remove the front kick plate, you will be able to check those. http://tclaundryrepair.com/
Please check the following.
water supply tap turned on?
water pressure supply sufficient, run your tap is it running normally or trickling?
Is the inlet hose kinked, check behind the unit?
Is the door closed properly?
put some towels dowm and tip the d/w over to one side about 45 degrees if water pours out of the base it means that the d/w is in "flood mode" and you have a leak into the base that will need resolving.
