"Password is incorrect" message when login to Wizard of Router

are you using the default login?
Navigate to http://192.168.20.1 in a web browser using "admin" as both the username and password to login to the router.

1. Connect your internet to a computer
2. Go to internet browser -> type in http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar
3. You should see the router login page. Type in default user name and password
username : admin
password: 1234
4. Follow a setup wizard to put your device name and wifi password.

Maybe you have to reset it to factory settings.
There is a button next to the power inlet prees it with a pen.
Here is how you acces the router again:

• IP address: 192.168.0.1 type this in your browser
• Username: admin
• Password: password (Sky-branded units have a default password of sky)
• Function set to Router + Modem

To access the Setup Wizard installation and configuration program on your router:

1. Connect your router to a computer by plugging one end of an Ethernet Cable into any of the four LAN ports on the back of your router.
2. Log in to your NETGEAR router by browsing to http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com. Enter the username (admin) and password. By default, the password is password or 1234 unless it has already been changed.
3. To install your router, simply click on the "Setup Wizard" link at the top of the left-hand navigation menu once you are logged into your router.

if you browse to 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 you should get the login prompt.
if you dont remember your password you can do a factory reset by holding down the reset button for 5 secs when you power it on.
login should be admin password should be blank or password.

Please follow steps to configure your router with AT&T

1. Please remove all the connections from the router. Connect power to the router and then connect a cable from the computer into any of the 4 lan ports on the router. Make sure the modem should not be connected to the router or to the computer.
2. Open up the Internet Browser (Safari, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, etc.).
3. Put http://www.routerlogin.com/basicsetting.htm in address bar.
4. On the basic setting page scroll to the bottom and click on Apply.
5. Login to the router with the Username as "admin" and Password as "password" (please note that the Username and Password are case sensitive).
6. Click on lan ip setup under advanced.
7. Change the lan ip to 192.168.10.1 and under use router as a dhcp server change the starting ip as 192.168.10.2 and ending ip as 192.168.10.51, click apply and click ok for any popup message that arise.
8. Once the browser display some error message like CANNOT FIND SERVER, ACTION CANCELLED etc, Connect the dsl modem on the wan port of the router and restart the computer.
9. Power off the dsl modem and the router after making the connections.
10. Power on the dsl modem and wait till the dsl light comes on, then power on the router.
11. Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari).
12. Access the router (http://192.168.10.1).
13. Login to the router (Username = admin Password = Password).
14. Click on Setup Wizard and then select "Yes" and Click "Next" on the detection window.
15. It should give you a "Dynamic IP Detected" or "pppoe detected"(type the Username & Password of your dsl account in case of pppoe detection) and then click next.
16. Click Apply.
(still doesnot work then click on basicsetting, it will say does your internet connection require login,you need to click on NO then very bottom there would be router mac address you need to select USE COMPUTER MAC ADDRESS then click on apply
17. Logout of the router.
18. Open up another browser window and try to access internet.

you can CD from reshaller or vendor there is another way to configure router manualy following is the way to configure router

First you need to login to your router by going to it's IP address.

1. Open "Internet Explorer" and type "192.168.1.1" in the address bar. If that does not bring up anything try "192.168.0.1"
   
   
2. When the login box appears, enter your login information. If you never set it up try (Login: admin , Password: admin) - if that doesn't work try (Login: admin , Password: password)
   
   
3. Goto the "Tools" tab on the top
   
   
4. Goto the "Firmware" button on the right
   
   
5. Click "Browse" and select the firmware file
   

1. Connect the Router to the Computer using LAN Wire.

2. Login to the Router by using this address.

www.192.168.1.1

Note: Default Login Name and Password will be admin and password.

Now, configure your router according to your ISP settings like entering Username or Password.

First, Go START | RUN... and type CMD.
When black windows apears, type ipconfig and write down the gateway. This is the address you have to use on your browser. The router will most probaly ask a login and password. Try admin for login and password. It change form manuf. to manuf. Search your Manual for Default Password.
