Question about 3Com OfficeConnect Wireless Router
I attached my Router according to the instrucations.
I'm able to browse to http://192.168.1.1 , but when I type "admin" as the System password i get the message "Password is incorrect".
I tried reseting the Router and also restarting my computer but it doesn't help.
Firstly, make sure that you type the word admin without any spaces before or after, and make sure it's all lower case. If that doesn't work, normally another password has been set. when you reset the router, hold in the reset 'button' with a paper clip or something else small for a FULL 30 seconds, keep the paper clip in place, power the router off for 30 seconds, then power the router on again, still holding the paperclip in place for another 30 seconds. That's 1 minute 30 seconds total (3hours in cat time) but that should force the router into a factory reset. Then go to 192.168.1.1 etc and all should be well" - hope this helps. Dave
