The F30 error code will flash when the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position.

* It could have a mechanical failure in the linkage between the dispenser motor and the top of the dispenser.
* Loose wire connection between the machine control board and the dispenser motor
* Failed dispenser motor

What does code F30 indicate?

I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your washer. The "F30" will display when the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position. Sometimes the dispenser motor will stall out and not operate. Sometimes you can manually attempt to rotate the motor shaft slowly and it will begin to operate again
Possible Causes/Procedure:

Unplug washer or disconnect power.
Remove the screws along the back of the top and remove the top to access the dispenser motor.
Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser.
Check wire harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control Unit (CCU).
Check dispenser motor for powered rotations.

Softener does not dispense and we get a code F 30

This error code F30 flashes when the central control unit (CCU) cannot drive the dispenser motor to the proper dispensing position and hence the softener dispensing problem. Disconnect power then remove the top panel and check the dispenser motor assembly for damage or broken parts. You may run a diagnostic test then take a look at the dispenser motor and observe how it behaves. Replace the dispenser motor assembly if damaged.
