Hi... I think the registry is corrupt on your PC... Have you tried reinstalling windows?
Do a backup of all important files and and then a fresh copy of windows will help.

Thanks

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a Toshiba desktop with 1TB external hard drive. Shows another language with an Error: 0x80070005 Runtime Error! what is it?

PDB is a a Microsoft file holding debugging information for a program. It stands for program database. The error mentioned is also referred to as "access denied."

However, you could post what is in that file until the cows come home and still end up having to try chkdsk or startup repair. Save yourself some premature aging by doing so sooner rather than later.

Purportedly, it is related to you not having sufficient permissions for Windows Update. As that news likely will cross your eyes and make you tear out your hair or simply call me nuts, I will exit quickly stage left. Log in as system administrator and see if you have any luck performing windows updates. Just before you get too carried away, it would be a good day to copy files you want to save from that external hard drive, JUST IN CASE. Of what? The Unknown!

Well, whether malware has been at play (see MalwareBytes for that) or some newly installed program has put the whammy on you (think about uninstalling the latest monster you unleashed), you might just try running the diagnostic software on the brand website for the external drive. Pardon the kitchen sink approach, but if you are getting an access denied error for no apparent reason, you will likely have to apply some general, sweeping fix rather than some tiny registry entry. I do not think this is a case for a Microsoft Fixit.

Tip

Network Connection Always Shows Access Denied

If you are always getting Access Denied errors when trying to connect to a XP computer,
and you know you have the correct user names and passwords on the computer,
the solution may be a simple registry edit.
  1. Start Regedit
  2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrentControlSet / Control / Lsa
  3. Change the value of a key called "restrictanonymous" to 0 instead of 1
  4. Don't change "restrictanonymoussam" value.
  5. Reboot

I get a access denied error when i try to transfer programs to my ti 84 plus

Hello,
Here is what the TI Knowledge Base has to say about resolving the problem you have.Hope it helps.

How do I resolve the error "Access Denied" when transferring an App or OS using the TI Connect software?

The error "Access Denied" indicates that the TI-Connect software could not complete the current transfer due to an unforeseen error. Please try the following troubleshooting steps if the error persists.
Perform a manual "Garbage Collect" on the calculator (TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus family only):
• Press [2nd] [0] [TAN] [ENTER] [ENTER] [2].
NOTE: A manual "Garbage Collect" can take up to 5 minutes to complete.
• Attempt to transfer data to the calculator.
Uninstall and reinstall the TI-Connect software:
• Go to Start >> Settings >> Control Panel or Start >> Control Panel and select "Add or Remove Programs".
• Locate the TI-Connect software in the list and then choose "Remove".
• Once the software uninstall process has completed, please shut down and power off the computer.
• Wait approximately 20-30 seconds and then reboot into Windows.
• Download and install the latest version of the TI Connect software from the TI Connect Software home page.
• Once the TI Connect software install process has completed, restart the computer before using TI-Connect.
• Attempt to transfer data to the calculator.
If the above troubleshooting steps do not work, please contact TI-Cares Technical Support for additional troubleshooting.

Device driver will not install; error msg "Access Denied"

Ok so i was searching around the internet and found a similar problem with another monitor so for giggles i tried there method. This is the website where i found it : http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/itprovistahardware/thread/d7c0e5bd-2fcf-48ff-a79b-c157014fc821/#page:3

The Second Entry has a download. Download it then extract the files to the desktop. Dont worry if you get errors when the program runs it will fix them, if they come up just press enter to keep going. Once the program completes install the driver again and it should work as it did for me.

If you cant get to that website heres the post from it:
"Ok, once again i checked updates for HP My Display/Drivers, and found this:
http://www.portrait.com/dtune/hpw/enu/support_help.html

Here is a direct link to fix for "Access Denied" issue (HP LCD Monitors & Vista):
http://download.portrait.com/DRVFix.zip

Download DRVFix.zip. The fix contains 3 files including this readme. All must be in to the same folder.
  • readme.txt - This file
  • RestoreDisp.exe - Executable required to restore permissions. DO NOT RUN THIS FILE
  • DVRFIX.exe - Run this file in Administrator mode after reading the instructions completely
To perform the fix do the following:
  1. Extract all files in to a folder on your desktop
  2. Open the folder, right click on the DVRFIX.exe file and choose "Run As Administrator"
  3. Follow the on screen instructions. When complete, you should be able to install your drivers

If you find this helpful, please let me know.

I fixed this issue manually (from registry), about month ago.
But gladly i found this help file, by mistake. emotion-1.gif

Vesa"
