Pass the align screen

Hey :), id be happy to help. You see, I too have a Ipaq except I had Ipaq 4350. Now, I too had the same problem you are having. The reason why you can't pass the align screen step is because somehow you have damaged your screen. And I have come to the conclusion that HP Ipaq's screen is extremely sensitive, ( because I never did anything that bad to my screen for it to be damaged) soo I'd recommend for you to call HP and see if they can repair your problem or give you another one. Thank you and I hope this helps!

Do a hard reset - note it will remove all your data.

If a hardreset doesn't fix the problem then you either have a faulty touchscreen or other fault in it and you have to send it in for serivce contact HP.

Use Active Sync, explorer the folder contents on the device, move to the windows folder, delete the file welcome.exe. Soft reset and should work.

Sometimes you have to end all Active Sync tasks, rapimgr.exe, wescomm.exe and WCESmgr.exe. After you close all these, reopen Active Sync, should then be abel to connect your device and try again.
