Epson SX200 lights flashing

I have recently bought a new Epson SX200 all in one printer and on installing all the software off the Epson web site for the printer i noticed a problem! The software can see the printer but the printer wont talk to the comp also the green & orange light on the printer keeps flashing! so i did the sensible thing and checked the ink cartridges were in properly and the right ones and to my amazement they were i am stumped and have tried everything and would like some assistance if there is anyone out there that can help i am all ears cheers Dan.

According to epson manual it may take 2.5 minutes for the printer to be ready for printing. Leave printer turned on. Do not press any buttons or load paper. Light will go to solid green when printer is ready. This link will let you download startup manual.

Cannot install sx200 driver

Hey Silvia WAterhouse,

This link will get you the download for the sx200 driver. When you go to run it however, be sure to right click and "Run as Administrator".

Hello i have just bought myself a notebook and i want to install my epson stylus sx200 printer onto it but without using the cd provided as there is no cd driver. I'm having problems finding the software...

For some reason they only offer the drivers and software on their Euro page. Here's a direct link to all the drivers, software, and creativity software Epson provides for that printer.

Epson sx200 installation but no cd ronm

I hope you have a FAST internet connection. I don't know where you are, but that model was sold in the UK. They have a very good support site on their web site ( http://www.epson.co.uk/Support) and you can download the install CD contents, but it is 130MB if you want all the software

I have just replaced the ink in my epson sx200 but the ink light is still flashing and it won't print - any ideas. Thanks

Try opening the printer properties then selecting Printing Preferences -> Maintenance -> Epson Status Monitor.
This will give you an indication of whether the cartridges have been recognised.
Some of the older T071x cartridges are not compatible - you must get ones specific to to SX200.
