The laptop did not come with any CD's. My other laptop, an Acer, has a hidden partition that I was able to restore my OS by hitting the F10 button on bootup.

Because of the 25 digit number on the bottom, I figured the Toshiba must have a hidden partition with the setup files as well. Just don't know how to access it.

The only way to do it without the disks is with the recovery partition, but you usually have one or the other. and the partition is not usually hidden, it will be seen as a hard drive with its own drive letter, usually D: .
If you have no partition, then your system most likely originally came with discs which you've misplaced. your only other option is to buy a copy of windows, and download the drivers and software you need for your particular model from the toshiba website.
hope this was helpful

Toshiba Satellite A75-S231 overheating pls advise me

You need to open the Notebook and clean it with an Air-blower mainly near the CPU (Processor) area.

You need to check whether the CPU cooling fan is working properly or not, try cleaning it too, If the problem still persists replace the CPU cooling fan.

That's it.
