Hello,

Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Hoping this will help in solving the problem....

Hello how do i set the convergence manualy on a pioneer elite pro-710hd projection tv i dont have the remote and dont know how to bring the menue up on the tv

You MUST have the remote to perform service operations on the Elites. Look on ebay or do a google search for Pioneer 710 remote.
There is no way to manually do convergence without a remote, and no way to call up the convergence menu.

If you don't mind opening the thing, open it up and follow the power lead inside the TV. Somewhere along the line should be a fuse. I'd start there.

The blackness is to dark night sceens so black you cant see nothing all other colors fine

I would turn up the contrast and brightness if you have not already done so. If that does not help, Call a good TV Tech and have hime turn up the TV's internal screen adjustments located on the focus block in the front of the TV just behind the speaker cover.

Pioneer SD-532HD5 - Picture Bowed on sides only on 1080I

The problem you are describing is known as a pincushoin problem. I'm a bit surprized that you only see it on the 1080i signal though. I've inquired at my Pioneer contact about this and will update this soon.

Stay tuned...
