Even when not programmed to the washer/dryer fills up with water?
When not in use if we leave the door open and say go to bed by the morning the drum would have filled up with water and leaked all over the floor? We are having to close the door at ALL times just in case the drum randomly fills up with water.

Check the water inlet valves, located where the water lines plug into the machine. Also check for proper water pressure and make sure that your water pressure is not surging. If this help please rate. Thank you

Open up the top of the machine. Plug off the wall mains. Turn off the wall faucet. How is the wire connection for the inlet valve, the water inlet. Fine? If not unscrew the inlet valve from the corner of the machine after disconnecting the hoses, & dismantle to clean it up, re-assemble, refit back to machine.
front load washing machine all in one are designed to use water supply also in drying cycle to condensed the hot air & move it out to outside , can you check the faucet if its open, so the moist unside the drum can out to the drain and the machine dry properly,if its ok & no water fill to drum may be your inlet water valve for the drying cycle has a problem. So that the time to call a technician to check it .
often in washing machines there is a drain trap which needs cleaning out from time to time, (usually accessible from the front behind a removable facia) The manual should tell you how to clean this. you need to drain the water first (as there is often a little water still in the system). if you look on the program dial there is often an item that has an arrow pointing down, this should be the drain program, after this is done you can remove the draining cover and clean the workings inside, hopefullt this will solve your problem :)
It sounds like you have a faulty fill valve that is leaking by. The valve has an electric solenoid but also has a small diaphragm that needs to seat properly to keep the water supply from coming in. If the diaphragm is not seating correctly for whatever reason, water pressure alone can keep water filling into the wash tub. Even the smallest amount, over time can cause problems. One way to test the theory is to shut off the water supply before you go to bed. If the tub is still empty in the morning, more than likely you have a bad fill valve. Let me know if this helps.
