I have the same problem I can't tilt my screen but I wrote to Sanyo and they told me to hold the stand just below the Sanyo sign and push back on the top of the cabinet at the top. They said it will pop but it is not broken. I tried to do this but I was still afraid I would break it so I quit. Let me know if you try it and if it works. I'm chicken

I went to the retailer where I bought my Sanyo and luckily found a person who knew what they were talking about. I was able to tilt the screen on my Sanyo which turned out to be easy. Just hold the top of the base just below the screen and push on the top of the screen. It was a little stiff, but worked.

The way Sanyo said to tilt the screen is correct. I tried it and it works. Mine wouldn't give at first, but I just pushed a bit harder and it moves fine now. I didn't hear a pop, though.

The picture in the screen is not straight/level

I have an older Toshiba 36inch. My manual has a topic called Tilt correction. This procedure will compensate for any local magnetic field differences which cause the image to tilt. My topic is listed in the Index under "T". See if your manual has this.

Remote wont work properly

Here is a list of faults for that tv. Is recommended to take to a qualified repair shop. I could not find a recall for that set, only a complaint about a different Sanyo set that should have been recalled. Find that link here http://www.my3cents.com/showReview.cgi?id=41608 and the link for some known or I would assume common faults listed for quicker repair for Sanyo televisions. http://www.euras.com/repair_tips_1/SANYO/DS25320/DS25320_SANYO.htm

Hope this helps. Ratings are very important to us so I want to thank you in advance for taking a moment to rate my response.

PC connections do not transmit sound unless the system is equipped with the newer sound-format inclusive video cards and running HDMI.

You will need to use the computers speakers..if you have any.

Tv screen is tilted

due to shifting your deflection coil has tilted.

small discolored spot on the screen is also due to same thing.

it is better to call tech to do it right though it is minor work but skill is required.

good luck.
