Re: WiFi keeps shutting down?!?!
Check for interference in the room equipments like microwave, powerful radio transmitters or walkies. try shutting off all the electronic and magnetic devices in the routers proximity and try connecting again. Depending what router you have and whats your isp you will need different steps for different combinations. So your best bet is to conference your isp and router manufacturer so they cant blame each other.

One reason I can think of for your problem is this: your TV detects several other protected WiFi networks (probably from your neighbors) in addition to your own, and it is likely that you entered the password for your network when trying to connect to another network. To check if this is the case and if you don't know your network's name (actually this is called the network's SSID), do the following: turn off your modem/router, then check what WiFi networks are detected by your TV. Write down the names of those networks. Turn your modem/router back on and see what networks are now detected by your TV. The new one on the list is your WiFI network's SSID. Make sure that you connect your TV to that new network.
1- I don't know what connectify is or even why you would use it. Your router can or should be able to handle wireless communications in your WiFi network. Once you have your wifi network setup under the router then go into settings on your ipad and point it to the right network and it should connect.
2- On your toshiba it should connect on it's own as well, get the wifi connection setup the go into network connection and point it to your wireless network in the house.
Like i said i don't know why or what this other program is or even for but see no good reason to even use it.
1) does it lock up completely or will it work hard lined when wifi fails?
2) do all devices wireless fail or just a single device?
3) do you lose connection to the wireless completely or keep the connection but lose access to the internet? (confusing but very different to me)
in the end you could narrow down the problem but if you have already reset to factory defaults and set back up again and again then it may be time to retire that old router.
Theencryption key secures your data from unauthorized access.
The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key.
The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings.
To connect to your wireless router, configure the router'swireless settings ie SSID, plus the WPAor WPA2 encryption key and then configure wireless cards in the laptops and orcomputers with these router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktopcomputers can communicate with your wireless router.
Check your computer manual or see if there is a wifi label sticker on your computer. Likely if it's a newer computer you will have wireless functionality. For your type of issue, there would need to be further digging if you could give the type of computer/make and model etc.
