Question about SanDisk 2GB Cruzer Micro SDCZ62048A10 Hard Drive

1 Answer

2GB Cruzer Flash drive says its full when there's nothing on it.

My Flash drive keeps telling me I am using 1.9 GB. I have erased all the files on it though, so there is currently none of my work there so it should have a lot of free space on it. My light still works and it appears to function normally. It just wont let me add anything over a few MBs. I Don't know if there is some way to reformat it so it realizes nothing is on it or what exactly the solution is! If you could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah thats a easy fix. The next time you plug it in to the computer right click on the the Icon when you pull it up under "My computer". This should give you the option to look at the properties of the Flash drive. There should be a n option to format the flash drive. Just format it and the problem is solved.

Eraseing a sandisk 2 gb flash drive

To Erase everything on the drive you can format it. To do this, plug it in, then go to 'my computer' Right click on the drive, and select 'format'. BE AWARE, THIS WILL COMPLETELY ERASE EVERYTHING ON THE DISK! So make sure that there is nothing that you want to keep on there.

I can't write files to my kingston 2gb usb flash drive.

Hello.

If you are getting a message that the disk is full, erase some of your existing files.

If there are no files on your flash drive, I'd suggest formatting your drive. If there are files, note that any existing files will be erased.

If your flash drive is drive "G" for example, enter "format g:" (no quotes).

Hope this helps.

SanDisk Cruzer storage

Check the format. Make sure it's compatable with the operating system. Also check the size of your documents folder. If they are compatable, maybe there is something wrong with the flash drive.
